IMS is a service and research center located in the College of Urban and Public Affairs at Portland State University. IMS spearheaded the project and was instrumental during its planning phase, connecting the project with volunteers regionwide and providing support with initial research and mapping.

Center for Population Research Population Research Center (PRC)

The Population Research Center, at Portland State University, provides access to census and other information on the population of Oregon and analyzes patterns of past, current and projected future populations in Oregon and the implications of such patterns for key issues facing Oregon. The Population Research Center is leading the map development and analytical phase of the project and providing expertise in data sources, GIS analysis and modeling, and map design and production.
